Hi, I'm a first-year speech pathology student who has 3 years of tutoring experience. I believe that, as a tutor, the most important things I can do for my students are to provide mentorship, actively listen, adapt my teaching style to each student, create a safe space for students to make mistakes, and offer constructive feedback. I specialise in English and Mathematics from Years 1-11.

I am a patient person with a strong willingness to listen. I ensure I always hear what a student needs help with and be able to help them to the best of my ability. Being able to answer questions and be general guidance for a student is most important, especially on the journey to improve marks. I believe having someone you can ask questions to who is not a school teacher can be less daunting than having to ask in class, which will then help boost the confidence of the student. Hi, My name's Arjun and I’m currently studying electrical engineering in my second year. I have a strong background in Mathematics Extension 1 and 2 from my hsc journey with marks of 97 and 94 respectively, as well as a thorough understanding of necessary study skills and strategies to maximise marks. I really enjoy helping students build confidence in maths and breaking down difficult concepts into simpler steps that actually make sense. I focus on making lessons supportive and interactive, whether it’s working through school content, exam preparation, or improving problem-solving skills. I’m patient, approachable, and aim to help students not only improve their marks but also feel more comfortable tackling challenging questions independently. My hobbies include playing basketball, tennis, chess and my piano.

Cyrus is a highly motivated tutor with an exceptional academic background, specialising in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. He achieved an ATAR of 99.65 and is now pursuing a degree in Computer Science at UNSW. Outside of academics, Cyrus enjoys playing competitive chess and table tennis.

Cyrus’ teaching revolves around building reasoning skills and a strong foundation of knowledge. I completed English Advanced for my HSC, achieving a Band 5 overall result and a Band 6 in my internal assessment, providing me with strong skills in essay writing, analysis, comprehension, creative writing, and exam preparation.

Hello! My name is Parina Johar, I am currently studying a double degree of law and business at UTS (University of Technology Sydney). My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and challenge themselves. I am a provisionally accredited teacher in NSW, who is completing a Masters of Teaching in Secondary Education. My major is science and I am specialising in Maths and Science. Being a very enthusiastic and motivated individual who loves to work with young people and bring out the best from them, I am excited about my future career as a teacher because I want to build strong relationships with students and play a vital role in supporting and making them realise their academic and personal potential both inside and outside the classroom. Other than tutoring, in my day-to-day life, I like to read books, and often prioritise my fitness at the gym and love to spend time with family by having meals together and watching movies. I also spend time with my friends by going out or even studying together, because I believe these people have played a pivotal role in shaping who I am today, and I could model these passions to my students to show that wellbeing is just as important as learning.

I am a Fire Engineer with degrees in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, as well as Medicine and Surgery. I have 14 years of tutoring experience in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, providing one-on-one and small-group support to students at different academic levels.

I assist students with understanding difficult concepts, completing schoolwork and assignments, preparing for examinations, and developing effective study and problem-solving techniques.
